Ohmygawd. College applications SUCK. Especially when you have to juggle full IB, 230984930849 activities, and writing/editing your Extended Essay at the same time. .__. My plan is to finish all my apps by the end of Thanksgiving break and then get really cranking on my EE over winter break. I actually only need to get a D on my EE to receive my IB Diploma, but I actually want to do a good job on it. Some people from my high school have even got theirs published; that would be amazing. Mine is investigating the development of nationalistic ideas and opinions in the Basque region of Spain from the mid-19th century to modern times, and how it has influenced the group ETA, which uses violence in an effort to win independence for the Basque Country from Spain and France. I think it's pretty interesting stuff, and if I could get it published in some journal in Spain, that would just be AWESOMMMEEE.

So yeah. Life is pretty stressful, but I'm hanging in there. There are some days when I just want to give up, other days when I know I can pull through, but I'll survive in any case. College list: Brown U (top choice, though kinda unrealistic), Wesleyan U, Boston U, Northwestern U, U Chicago, Pomona C, Pitzer C, and U Washington. Yaayyy liberal arts schools. I want to major in biochemistry or molecular biology and minor in visual arts or another language. But AKSDJFIEJIWEKJF I hate writing college essays.

Oh, and I just learned like yesterday that since I'm 18 now, I can write my own notes to the attendance office in case I'm late or absent. My parents would never let me skip a period unless I had a fever, but now I can just go to the school library and skip 1st period to study for a test that day or something. lol
